Sacramento Valley Weimaraner Club

Field training days are held every 1st Saturday of the month starting at 8 am. The formal part of the training session lasts about 4 hours. After that, people are free to use the facilities for any practice they would like to do on their own. We will do some training on retrieving (land and water), and bird work in the field. This would be an excellent opportunity if you want to start training for the WCA Ratings Tests or AKC Hunt Tests. Dogs at all levels of skill are welcome and will be accommodated.

While anyone can come, it is important to let us know so that we can order birds for you. If you have not already joined the email notification list please do so by emailing us at cydney@fcs.net.

The costs are usually $10/dog (for the facility) + $7/bird + $5/dog for non-members (equipment fee). Bring cash or check made out to Cydney Hansen on the day of the practice. (Please note that prices for birds fluctuate according to market value.)
